This is called versatile learner. Informal learning can happen anytime and anyplace even without our conscious awareness. In our daily life, lots of things happened around us. Only the things that give us some emotional feeling or we are rational looking for will leave the marks on our subconscious. If we are willingly to bring up our subconscious structure to our conscious level, we are looking for inspiration of the work. Anyway one thing is important for our informal learning is to be around the scene. If we are not at the scene, nothing will happen. In the ancient time, the apprentice is not paid for his time. He only had the privilege to be around and do some errands seem unrelated to the true skill he needed. However act around the scene will do the magic of learning.
