2. Bothe vessels keep original course , so the collision risk is never finished.
3. Speed reduction is not enough by one minute 0.7 Knots, at least 1.5 its per minute to avoid the collision.
4. ship's heading decide the collision risk.
5. If you are not sure, reduce speed can buy you a little time. but the collision risk is never away. VLCS is point vessel and VLCC is round vessel. this will discuss in next talk.
many seafarer don't know how to read the radar picture but rely on target data area. this is a foolish move.
