Dynamic RADAR is Dynamic Rider is my idea how the radar picture should present for Duty Officers reference. This idea is in my mind for a long time. Now I think it is time for me to bring out the idea to the marine industrial especially after full discussions I made in Sailed4seas serious about the practices of Radar Lookout(sailed4seas talk one to sailed4seas talk 53 in youtube) . After so many years of Radar invention nobody discussed or asked improving of the picture performance. We are living in 21 centuries but we still accept substandard radar picture presentation in fifty years ago. This is a rightful proof of what I had said the real thing is our life is nothing but our habit. IMO had set up the standards of ARPA what should be alright to reduce humans Labor on the radar plotting, but the outcome is not acceptable. We can say it precisely the output of the ARPA is digital which is a overflow to humans short-term memory. This is the deficiency the PPW and navigator have to live with in every watch, needless to say when the weather getting foggy. But this is not the probl the most dangerous things is everybody believe ARPA can help lookout practice so this Dynamic presentation is using graphic presentation to represent the Collision risk.
Dynamic RADAR part 2 https://youtu.be/0ByvI3BQHUE In this talk, I explained How to set up a virtue speed vector based on past three minutes trail ?(if you can use 6 minutes trail it will help even more)? why some target is safe and others are dangerous ? why we need one spot on azimuth circle? Can we predict where the collision spot will move if own ship alter course to seaboard ?
